An office complex reinvents itself: On the corner of the streets Yorckstraße and Münsterstraße in Düsseldorf-Derendorf, opposite the impressive new campus of Düsseldorf's University of Applied Sciences (HSD), a modern highlight is being created. Once the headquarters of the bank HSBC Trinkaus, the building from 1992 was largely vacant and in need of revitalisation.
Initially, potentials for a careful refurbishment and aesthetic upgrading of the building were developed. A particular focus was on the redesign of the outdoor facilities and the activation of the roof terraces, which – with regard to hybrid working environments – represent a unique selling point of the campus-like building. New entrances and contemporary equipment for modern office structures complete the picture. A total of nine access cores makes the building extremely flexible for a variety of future uses.
The result is a high-quality commercial property with a first-class location both, to the city centre and to the motorways in the north. In addition, the adult education centre of Düsseldorf has been secured as a major long-term tenant, further strengthening the education campus in Düsseldorf-Derendorf.
